Garage Equipment even cheap are a much higher cost for a MOT orientated business with a four post lifts being extremely large and powerful making them have a high price but justified as without one a vehicle servicing company would probably go out of business.
Without 4 post lifts or variations, engineers could not even think about being able to get under any type of vehicle these days to perform a series of jobs to fix, repair or service the underside of a vehicle. This is why business investments can be a good opportunity to financially improve a MOT company if you can find an investor as with a high quality four post lift and good customer turnaround, the financial return on investment can be pretty high.
Even in a credit crunch with people financially struggling, people need their cars to be road worthy so will pay whatever it takes to have a car be in good enough condition to pass its MOT. This means MTO companies need to make sure their finances are in good condition so they can continue to invest a good amount of their finances into new garage equipment such as 4 post lifts, diagnostic equipment and other useful tools.
