Dog crates are excellent tools for training your dog, keeping them comfortable and keeping them happy. Dogs are pack animals and they usually prefer to sleep in the same place every time. Using a dog crate when your dog is a puppy can have wonderful benefits when they are full grown.
Separation anxiety is a big problem for a lot of dogs. Like I said before, dogs are pack animals. They need a pack leader and if you train them properly they will see you as the pack leader. When you leave the house, they might get upset because thier leader has gone. This could lead to them destroying furniture or anything else they can get their teeth on. Training your dog with a dog crate will help them overcome this separation anxiety.
Housebreaking or house training can be a difficult task. Puppies have small bladders and they have to use the bathroom often. A dog will not use the bathroom where it sleeps. A dog crate helps you to create boundaries for your animal and they can help them learn where and when to use the bathroom.
